Parents and Students, please take a moment to review the following information:
As I help prepare your student for high school, it is so important to remind your child that he/she needs to practice being responsible and mindful of due dates. Students should come to school with a completed assignment in hand on the due date. The following policy is in place to make sure that your student is prepared and responsible:
Parents and Students: Students are solely responsible for turning in an assignment the day it is due. "My printer is not working" or "My printer is out of ink," is not an excuse for a late assignment. Each student should always have a "Plan B" for his/her work in case of a computer problem. Please do not email me an assignment and ask me to print it for you. Remember, written assignments (other than a research paper) may be typed or written in black ink. If needed, students should plan to print their assignments in the media center any time PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PRINT AN ASSIGNMENT THE DAY IT IS DUE - this takes valuable class time and students should be responsible and be ready to turn something in at the start of class. This policy is in effect to fully prepare your student for high school! Thank you for understanding this important policy!
